As an Animal Scientist, I am interested in exploring nutritional strategies for improving animal production and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ruminant livestock. I completed a Higher Degree By Research (HDR; Master of Philosophy in Animal Science) from the University of Queensland, Australia, where I investigated the effects of fresh microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris) as a feed supplement for improving sheep performance, carcass characteristics and meat quality. Additionally, I have obtained an International Diploma in Animal Feed from Aeres Training Centre International in Barneveld, the Netherlands. Furthermore, I hold a Master's degree in Animal Science from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, where I conducted a research project to investigate the effects of soy milk as a substitute for cow's milk in dairy calf nutrition. Moreso, I have completed a Bachelor of Agriculture degree at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, where I developed and tested a novel feed supplement for ruminants based on Multi-Nutrient Blocks (MNB). I am Dr. S. Santhoshkumar, a passionate researcher with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India (2024). At present I am working as a Research Associate at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. My research expertise lies in biomass conversion, biomass valorization, and purification technologies. Over the years, I have contributed extensively to my field through research publications and active participation in national and international conferences. I have qualified UGC-NET (Environmental Sciences) – 2022 and ASRB-NET (Agricultural Microbiology) – 2023. During my Ph.D., I was awarded the ICAR-CIRCOT funded SRF for my research on Bioprocessing of Natural Fibres and Agro-Residues for Oligosaccharide and Starch Production (2022–2024). He is the youngest dental surgeon of India to have completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW, New Delhi) and that too with distinction. He has also been conferred with Diplomate Fellowship in the field of implantology by World Congress for Oral Implantology (WCOI), Tokyo, Japan. Throughout his academic career, he had been awarded with gold medals being the Topper of the University, back to back. He has authored a book on “Oral Pathology” under Scientific Medtech publishers. He has to his credit around 28 books under Lambert Academic Publishing (LAP) as an author, 6 books as a co-author and has more than 100 national as well as international publications in various reputed journals. He has also contributed in various books like Textbook of Conservative & Restorative Dentistry, Textbook of Endodontics, Indirect Restorations, Target MDS MCQ’s, Dental Matrix, Brahmastra, AIIMS 25, Dental Triplet etc. He is always on the academic forefront being the co-supervisor for the thesis as well as library dissertation. Moreover, he is an external examiner for BDS professional examination in universities like BFUHS (Punjab), PGI Rohtak etc. He is the only Dental Surgeon of INDIA representing his country at various international conferences in several capacities i.e. keynote speaker, guest speaker and plenary speaker. He has presented keynote guest lectures and faculty presentations in various national & international conferences. In addition to this, he also presented paper as well as poster presentations in various conferences, many of which were highly appreciated and awarded. He is on the panel of various national and international journals in various capacities i.e. Chief Editor, Deputy Editor, Associate Editor, Executive Editor and Assistant Editor. Moreover, he is also an active editorial board member and an active reviewer for various journals. He is actively associated with various associations namely IPS, IDA, IDRR, AHA, etc. He has chaired scientific sessions in various national & international conferences. He is also known for his organization skills since he has been actively associated as organizing committee member for various conferences. He has been also conferred with many awards namely IDA Profile of the Month 2011, Budding Dentist Award 2010, Dental Youth Icon 2009, Student Ambassador and Mentor by the publishing group “Elsevier” and “The Best Post Graduate Student in Prosthodontics in India” in 2016. He has been recently awarded as “The Most Dynamic Dentist of the year 2021” during the Next Den Gen Awards 2021 where he was also appointed as the Guest of Honour and esteemed jury member. Most recently, he has been conferred with the “Distinguished Mentor in Oral Implantology 2021” award. Earlier, he was awarded “Doctor's Excellency Icon Award 2020” for excellent work in the field of dentistry by Geniuses World Records on the occasion of National Doctor’s Day i.e. 1st July 2020 & Global Outreach Healthcare Award 2020 under the category “Associate Editor of the Year” for exemplary work in the field of research by Global Outreach Medical & Health Association (GOMHA). He had also been conferred with the Appreciation Award for commitment and dedication to the field of dentistry on the occasion of International Dentist’s Day i.e. 6th March 2021 by team CynoDent (Global Healthcare for all). He was also awarded and honoured by the then Chief Minister of Punjab (Sh. Prakash Singh Badal) for securing highest marks during BDS 1st professional university examinations. He was also awarded with IDA Colgate scholarships and RN Kukar merit award throughout his academic career. He is the Council Member of Gergson Lehrmann Group (GLG). He had been the President of NDDSF (dental society) from Punjab State. Apart from the academics, he is actively associated with sports and cultural activities also. He had been a national level player of Table Tennis and won many awards for the same. (Agri.), and Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding, all with First Class with Distinction from Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujarat, India. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, School of Agriculture, Dr. Subhas University, Junagadh, Gujarat.
